The Houthi drone attack on Tel Aviv on Friday Breached Israeli defenses and hit the commercial center of the area. The Israeli military quickly retaliated with airstrikes targeting Houthi positions in Hodeidah, a strategic port used for receiving Iranian arms shipments, according to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
The strikes targeted oil facilities and a power station in Hodeidah, causing severe burns among the injured. Residents reported hearing explosions throughout the city during the intense bombardment. Firefighters and civil defense forces were deployed to extinguish fires in the port’s oil tanks.
