The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a series of airstrikes targeting Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force in southern Lebanon. The strikes focused on a key building in Jabal Rezlane along with several other locations across the region, marking one of the most intensive operations against the militant group in recent times.
The operation involved Israeli fighter jets and artillery units hitting over 20 Hezbollah-associated targets, including buildings and infrastructure in the towns of Khiam, Odaisseh, Blida, Maroun al-Ras, and Ayta ash-Shab. The IDF reported that many of these sites were used to store munitions, as evidenced by secondary explosions observed post-strike. Additional strikes were carried out in the villages of Marwahin and Kafr Kila, responding to recent hostilities initiated by Hezbollah, which included rocket barrages and drone attacks against northern Israel.

The escalation follows a pattern of increasing hostility, with Hezbollah intensifying its assaults on Israel, including the use of rockets, anti-tank missiles, and drones, which activated alarms across multiple Israeli communities. The situation remains tense, with both sides maintaining a delicate balance to avoid a larger conflict, even as they engage in frequent military confrontations.
