The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) completed a significant command exercise last week to enhance its readiness for potential conflicts in northern Israel. The exercise, involving both regular and reserve personnel, took place at the Northern Command headquarters and included participation from various branches and directorates of the IDF.
The exercise simulated a range of scenarios, including an expanded war in the northern arena and multi-arena conflict situations. A major component of the drill was a division-level simulation conducted by the 36th Division, which focused on combat scenarios specific to the northern region.
