Hezbollah launched a missile from Lebanon that struck the central Israeli cities of Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan on Monday evening, injuring five people and causing property damage.
The Israel Defense Forces initially reported that the missile had been intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system, but security officials later confirmed that it struck directly. Emergency services transported a 54-year-old woman in serious condition, another person in moderate condition, and three others with minor shrapnel injuries to Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva.

The missile also caused damage to several buildings, vehicles, and an empty bus. Shrapnel from the impact ignited a fire in the area, adding to the destruction. The strike hit between Bnei Brak, an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood, and the nearby suburb of Ramat Gan near Tel Aviv, disrupting daily life in the densely populated area.
