According to a fresh revelation from the fresh York Times, Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira is suspected of leaking secret material to a second Discord conversation with up to 600 users since February 2022. This is in addition to the breaches that were already known about.Â
An Air National Guardsman named Jack Teixeira, who had previously been charged with leaking classified information to a Discord chat group, has been found to have leaked additional information to a second group of up to 600 members since February 2022. The leaked information includes details of Ukrainian and Russian casualties in the ongoing conflict, as well as details about Russian spies, and was reportedly sourced from intelligence reports from the CIA and NSA, among others. Teixeira allegedly shared the information to curry favor and win arguments with members of the group chats. The leaked information was posted and later deleted, and it is unclear how Teixeira was able to share the documents online for such a long period without being discovered.
