Insurgents from the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and government forces have also been observed deploying First-Person View (FPV) drones in the ongoing civil war.
Earlier this year, Militarnyi reported that insurgents destroyed a Chinese-made WMA-301 wheeled tank destroyer belonging to the government forces, possibly with drone assistance. Myanmar’s military possesses around a hundred of these vehicles, along with other assets like Ukrainian-made BTR-3U and MT-LBMSh armored personnel carriers, some of which have been captured by rebel groups.
