The Global War on Terror Theme Park Experience offers a satirical and commercialized depiction of the GWOT, with different packages, activities, and a gift shop, providing a tongue-in-cheek portrayal of the war. 

Welcome to the Global War on Terror Theme Park Experience, a parody of the GWOT. If anybody ever constructs it, the author jokes about getting a cut of the revenues. The park provides numerous packages, such as the Combat Outpost, Forward Operating Base, and Super FOB, each with its own set of experiences and activities. Dummy guns and realistic-looking cash are distributed to participants. Key Leader Engagement is available for children, while the Indirect Fire Bunker and Latrine are available for adults. The Route Clearance Patrol entails simulating an operation while seated in a tight metal container. The event culminates with a Senior Leader Visit and the Airfield Sleep Challenge, in which participants attempt to sleep in the presence of loud noises. There is also a gift shop in the park.
