Irish chef and entrepreneur Niall Harbison has found a new passion in Thailand, where he looks after 80 street dogs in his direct vicinity and is planning to set up a foundation for a sanctuary.
Niall Harbison, an Irish chef and entrepreneur, who set up and sold social media companies Simply Zesty and Lovin’ Dublin, has found a new passion in Thailand. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Harbison started feeding local street dogs on the paradise island of Koh Samui. He now looks after 80 dogs in his direct vicinity, spending his mornings and evenings feeding them and taking them to the vet. Harbison is planning to set up a foundation and is looking for suitable land for a sanctuary for sick dogs. Despite the challenges and costs, he says it’s the most rewarding thing he’s ever done.
